We visited the Gore Getaway in late October of this year. The weather was fabulous with great scenery! We had such a wonderful time. Our girls LOVED exploring in the HUGE fenced in back yard. Our 2 dogs loved hiking on the property. Mark and I enjoyed that we had a could hike the grounds with our girls and pups. Your place was really comfortable. Felt just like home to all of us! The girls enjoyed their first bonfire and relaxing in the hammock. We are looking forward to coming back to the Getaway very soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful hidaway :o)

We just returned from Gore Get Away. What a beautiful place! The open great room/dining room/kitchen was comfortable and very user friendly! The kitchen was well stocked with everything a cook might want. The views from both porches were breath taking. The beds were comfortable and two bathrooms were a real plus. This home rental is well worth the money. Jennifer's list of the few things you might want to bring is very accurate. She is a great person to work with. She happily answered all of our questions beforehand. We found this place on the internet, so we rented it "cold". We could not have been more pleased with our choice.

We have enjoyed Gore Getaway many times already. It is a very relaxed atomsphere. Our dog just loves it there. The house is roomy and to us is "just like home". We make several trips a year. We live about 2-1/2hrs north in a little town called Pine Grove. Gore Getaway is a home away from home for us! Thanks Jennifer & Tyler for giving us the opportunity to share your home. We want to thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us time after time. We live in the busy suburbs of Washington, DC, and we look forward to â??getting awayâ?� from the madness at the Gore Getaway. It is the one place that we are able to just SIT, breathe the fresh air, and relax. You have furnished the house with all we need for a comfortable stay with our dog (she thanks you for the enormous fenced-in backyard to explore!). We were pleasantly surprised to find the new fun movie selection. Perhaps our favorite part of the house is THE FIRE PIT! We love it! It is so much fun to sit on a cool fall evening and watch the flames and catch up with old friends. We suggest that guests bring their own wood (maybe they sell it at the WalMart?) â?? or miss out on this great experience! Thanks again, and keep up the good work!!
